Paula Stevenson is ‘The Future Her’ – a musician, a mother, living with MS.
Paula Stevenson (Paula McAleese, Amoruza, Luas Line) releases her new self-penned, recorded and produced three- track E.P. ‘The Future Her ‘with an intimate family friendly gig on Sunday, 5 th June in the Oh Yeah Music Centre as part of the Women’s Work Festival.
Following a shock diagnosis of the debilitating and disabling disease Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 26. Paula’s dreams of a career as a singer and songwriter came crashing down around her. With the support of the University of Atypical and the mentorship of her fellow Mothers In Music. Paula is stepping back into the scene she knows and loves.
Her new material gives a raw and honest look into navigating the world with chronic and unpredictable health and how you can still manage to honour your creative soul.
